Helmeted Chameleon (Trioceros hoehnelii)

This mid-sized species prefers cooler temps and works best with a daily misting setup. Both the scientific name, hoehnelii, and one of the common names, “von Höhnel’s chameleon”, are in honor of Austrian explorer Ludwig von Höhnel.
