Blue Tegu Babies (Salvator merianae)

These Baby BlueTegus love the wetlands and any area that is humid and hot. This is the largest Tegu species. They have mesmerizing colors as hatchlings that consist of a vibrant green that has shark black and white lines from head to tail. This green coloration will become washed out after about 1 month. This is one of the most brilliant reptiles out there, and they need a dedicated and experienced owner. These Tegus are very easy to tame and are extremely loyal.

Size: Approximately 14-20 inches. Adults reaching up to 3-4 feet
Natural Range:  South America. Argentina and Paraguay
Food: Vitamin dusted crickets & roaches
