Eastern Hognose Snake (Heterodon platirhinos)

*** The parents of these were patterned, however being a polymorphic species some of these can still end up melanistic.
All have been fed multiple meals of baby toads, green tree frogs, and cut amphibian pieces.
These can be transferred to pinkies with scenting but it just takes time.
The Eastern Hognose Snake thrives in wooded areas and is thick-bodied. They are sometimes referred to as “Puff Adders”.  Easily distinguished by their upturned snout.
