This is an arid desert herbivorous species that needs to be kept at high temperatures. Males tend to have a beautiful set of colors while females are much less vibrant. These Super Red Niger Uromastyx are very passive. They are sometimes referred to as the Nigerian Uromastyx. These lizards are very active and thrive in a hot, dry desert environment. They need plenty of room to explore so set up their enclosure accordingly.
