Striped Knee Tarantulas (Aphonopelma seemanni)

Description: The Curly Hair Tarantula is an ambush predator that is covered in long bristles that have a “curly-like” appearance to them.  These brownish spiders can be found burrowing near the base of trees. It is a quick and defensive tarantula that should not be handled.

Origin: Field Collected
Size: Medium sized/3-6 inches
Natural Range: Hot and humid climates. Native to Nicaragua & Costa Rica.
Food: Vitamin dusted crickets, Dubia roaches, and other insects.
Lifespan: Males can live up to 10 years while females can live up to 25.
